LORIE DAY, MSN, RN, CPT

Founder & Trainer, DayBreak Fitness

Lorie is a nationally certified Personal Trainer through ISSA and a Master-educated Registered Nurse with over a decade of advanced clinical experience. Her background spans critical care, trauma, post-cardiac rehabilitation, and pediatric nursing, giving her a rare ability to merge medical insight with fitness training.

She’s also a Certified Nutritionist, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Recovery Specialist, making her uniquely equipped to help clients with specialized needs — from post-injury recovery to endurance training.

Beyond her nursing and fitness credentials, Lorie is a martial arts instructor and SWAT (Special Winning Attitude Team) Instructor at Covington Karate Studio, where she teaches discipline, precision, and resilience. She is known for her holistic, safety-first approach that balances strength, endurance, and long-term wellness.

What sets Lorie apart is her concierge-level coaching style. She builds programs that are not only challenging but also safe, medically informed, and tailored to each client’s unique journey. Whether you’re an athlete, recovering from injury, or just beginning your fitness path, Lorie’s mission is simple:
